Building

I'm rebuilding this site by hand — a small, static, zero-build page that loads fast and stays easy to maintain. Around it, I'm tending a home-lab setup on a Raspberry Pi: Home Assistant running the house, and a self-hosted coding agent I reach over a local tunnel. The throughline is owning my own tools rather than renting them.

Learning

AI agents and LLM tooling — how they're composed, where they're reliable, and where they quietly fail. Alongside that, the systems work: self-hosting, networking, and keeping a handful of always-on services healthy on modest hardware.

Reading & watching

• Working through a book on distributed systems — slowly, and with notes.
• Mostly re-watching old films in the evening; nothing here is urgent.
